Custom Magento Website Design from Scratch

After the grand success of eBay shop and custom M2E PRO template, we have got an opportunity to re-design e-commerce website for COOLWATCH31.COM, a Japan-based business dealing in premium watches from brands like Nixon, Michael Kors, Luminox, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Tissots and plenty of other luxury brands.

The objective was pretty clear, we were required to create a design that is user-friendly and provides better user experience to buyers along with establishing COOLWATCH31 as premium brand watches supplier at most competitive rates.

Into the direction of creating simple and clean design, we have integrated elements like best Seller section, a section explaining why you should buy from COOLWATCH31, section for highlighting original brand logos, call to action promotional banners and mega menu to provide as much options as possible for buyer to navigate through website without harming the principle UX friendly design that eventually results in better customer engagement and increased website usability.

As website Analytic research stats that 80-90% of visitors navigate through links present in header and footer, We have given special attention in designing the above the fold section of the website and footer section which comprise plenty of information and links to important pages for easier navigation and building brand trust.

Selling high-quality premium watches, it becomes necessary to highlight all information in most sufficient manner possible.

Special attention is given while designing a product detail page that consists of product features/ watches attributes tables, original price, retail price, product introductory video, related product section, cross-sell product section and other plenty of information that helps buyers to get all the information that he may need making final purchase decision without navigating to any other pages of the website.

Efficient use of webpage space has brought great advantage in decreasing bounce rate from product pages and increase “Add-to-Cart” and “Buy-it-Now” event ratio which was a key objective of the design.
